As thousands of runners and event organizers prepare for Philadelphia Marathon Race Weekend, the city is providing information about road closures that will be in effect for the scheduled events.
The Philadelphia Marathon weekend takes place Saturday, Nov. 19 and Sunday, Nov. 20. Races include the AACR Philadelphia Marathon, Dietz & Watson Half Marathon, Rothman Orthopaedics 8K and a kids fun run. Many road closures, parking restrictions and SEPTA detours will be in place in Center City, Old City, University City and Manayunk, and along Kelly Drive during the races.
