School is canceled for hundreds of thousands of bay area kids and we discovered sandbags are in such high demand, there is actually a black market for them. We have a team of reporters across the bay area. But first, lets get to meteorologist paul deanno in the Weather Center tonight. A lot of rainfall ahead of the actual storm that will get here well after midnight. It has been pouring in marin county, Sonoma County, Mendocino County and napa county. Already an inch of rain on the ground throughout much of the north bay. No rain near san jose, but showers are working their way south. A lot of rain has fallen already. Today, mostly cloudy, by late evening, though, the rain arrives. It will be with us right through thursday, heavy rain, strong winds, flooding likely. The showers taper off friday. We get a brief break saturday and sunday but then comes back in monday. Time frame for this one, wednesday night about 9 p. M. All the way through noon on friday. So the entire day on thursday is going to be wet. The heaviest rain is going to call in the north bay hills, 3 to 8 inches there. 3 to 6 inches in the santa cruz valleys. Wit ....
Youve been watching through the evening as the protesters have moved out, looters have moved in. Law enforcement has tried to restore order. Where does it stand now . Reporter so these looters are now being caught block by block by police and in this game of cat and mouse going on right now. Let me show you this, this is basically 30 to 40 people that weve seen, there are so many people who have been arrested so far, that that entire bus over there is filled with people that have been arrested. And then were going to walk this way here, this city bus, it is not a bus that you normally house prisoners in, but this city bus has been repurposed for people that are going to be processed at some point tonight. So you can see them all in handcuffs, and then as we make our way back here, weve got officers in skirmish lines, theyve been chasing down looters that theyve seen running from block to block, and im going to take you, to show you some of the different places right now, that are open. ....
