As i mentioned, over two hundred thousand people could be here on a day during world war ii. The station had to be closed because it was full. Some of the benches needed to be removed then. It was still a primarily the largest waiting room certainly, in the city and the crossroads of the world, it was once dubbed by the press. Interesting to go through this building, particularly world war ii and the changes that were made.
