West Cork Distillers Launches Limited Irish Whiskey Stout Cask Finish
In partnership with its importer M.S. Walker, West Cork Distillers out of Ireland has recently announced the limited release of a new Stout Cask finished blended Irish whiskey.
Triple distilled and aged in first-fill bourbon casks for four years, the whiskey is a 75:25 blend of grain and malt Irish whiskey crafted using Irish malted barley and Irish wheat. Following the bourbon casks, the malt and grain components are then blended and aged for an additional 6 months in casks that had held Ireland’s Blacks of Kinsale’s Stout offering.

West Cork Distillers has released its latest limited-edition blended Irish whiskey.
The West Cork Stout Cask is a blend of grain and malt Irish whiskey aged in Bourbon casks for four years. The expression is finished for six months in Irish stout casks. The casks are from Irish brewer Blacks of Kinsale, which is based in Cork.
The release is West Cork s second collaboration with Blacks of Kinsale following an IPA Cask Finish expression launched in August.
