On october 17, he orders long street to return and resume command of the first army of northern virginia. And all of the confederate defenses north of the james river. Fromstreet has everything bermuda 100 toward sycamore harmony. Heatley will take charge of the defenses run petersburg. Lee will take charge of the defenses around petersburg. It does not necessarily seem like a cavalry operation to me and it makes him one of the most interesting historians working in the field today.
