used, and i also thought it was weaponizing skin color. so? not sort of something that is specific to party. it s a terrible, terrible tactic. but when you look at florida, there are so many things happening down there. i certainly think it will backfire. amy, i want your take on that. it keeps coming up. this day and age with the tone knowing the sensitivity, race relations, too, that again the point that basel brought up, a harvard educated man knowing now than any other time, word choices, phrases that are used are important and can be construed and misinterpreted in many ways, but yet that was still the term. absolutely. and i agree with basel. this has nothing to do with party affiliation. it s unfortunate that he did decide to use those choice of words. he also said that he wasn t going to apologize because that wasn t his intent. but i still believe that he should have apologized, especially with the sensitivity of the words that he did use.

even if it wasn t the intent, if he would have simply said, hey, look, i m really sorry. i didn t think this through. that was not what i intended to mean at all, we might have been able to say, you know, i forgive you and let s move on. but that doesn t seem to be the case. so it s unfortunate that he chose that route. who was he trying to get that message across to when it comes to using that term or the pra e phrase? that s a very good question. once again, i don t think that he was really thinking this through. i hope so. if he really thought that that was a wise statement, then maybe he is not fit for office. and then when you have this robocall and you re talking about this seems to be interesting timing, you know, you can t control third-party groups, unfortunately, but they are capitalizing on his statement, and it hurts him. it doesn t hurt the mayor. well basel, you have gillum
