NU EST Achieves Highest Album Sales on Hanteo Chart in 3rd Week of April with Romanticize
On April 26, Hanteo Chart revealed the K-pop act that took first place on the Weekly Physical Album Chart for the third week of April. The sales were accumulated from April 19 to 25. Romanticize by NU EST was announced to be the No. 1 bestselling album in the previous week. On the first day (April 19), a total of 91,416 copies were sold, the highest record of the boy group within that week.

On the Mnet Kingdom Episode 3, it was revealed that ATEEZ has the most points for Round 1: To the World, thus claiming the top spot of the initial rankings.
On April 8, Mnet aired the second episode for its new idol competition show Kingdom: Legendary War. Besides revealing the full results of the introductory 100-second performance battle, the six competing groups - The Boyz, iKON, Stray Kids, BTOB, ATEEZ, and SF9 - started the official first round of the contest.

For Round 1, the boy groups were assigned to remix one of their tracks, which they like to put on a performance that they wanted to show to the world. The stages were: The Boyz with No Air, iKON with Love Scenario + Killing Me, BTOB with Missing You, Stray Kids Side Effects + God s Menu, ATEEZ with Wonderland, and SF9 with Now or Never.
IU has attained her highest personal record of first-week album sales with her new release LILAC.
On March 25, IU released her new album title LILAC, which delivers the singer s gratitude to those who watched over her all through her twenties. The album comprises the pre-release song Celebrity and the two title tracks LILAC and Coin, plus seven other singles for a total of 10 songs.
Hanteo Chart kept track of the sales for IU s LILAC following its release. On April 5, Hanteo Chart revealed that the female K-pop soloist obtained her highest Initial Chodong or first-week album sales, beating her previous record with Love Poem.
