Sheamus Defeats Matt Riddle at WrestleMania 37 to Become a Three-Time WWE United States Champion

WrestleMania 37, The Celtic Warrior Sheamus defeated The Original Bro Matt Riddle for the WWE United States Championship. This is the third U.S. Title victory of Sheamus career. The end of the match saw Sheamus hit Riddle with a Brogue Kick in mid-air as Riddle was going for a Lionsault.

WWE Announces Two-Night WrestleMania 37 Sellout


WWE announced the following:
For the second consecutive night, a sell-out of 25,675 fans attended WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Fla., with millions more watching at home on Peacock in the U.S. and on WWE Network around the world.
Two sell outs with a combined 51,350 fans attended both nights of WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium.
Adhering to local health guidelines, a limited number of tickets were sold for both nights of WrestleMania, with all in attendance seated in socially-distanced pods. Additional safety measures included health screenings and temperature checks prior to entry into Raymond James Stadium, mask requirements, social distancing, mobile ticketing, cashless concessions and enhanced sanitization throughout the venue. ....

We travel in time back 20 years to 2001. The scene is set at the First Union Center in Philidelphia, Pennyslvania. The main event of Smackdown! is for the WWF Intercontinental Championship between champion Triple H and challenger Jeff Hardy. But how did we get to this position, I hear you ask? WWF Chairman Mr. McMahon ordered a six-person tag team match, with the Two Man Power Trip of WWF Champion ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and Intercontinental Champion Triple H along with his wife Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley taking on Team Extreme, Lita with Matt and Jeff Hardy. The match came about after Lita showed her admiration and respect towards Linda McMahon after she called her husband out and stated she wanted a divorce on live televis ....
