These words may mean different things to different people based on their context, but to students at three Troy schools, these words together teach them how to foster a positive school culture and good individual character.
Athens High School and Troy Union and Bemis elementary schools were recognized with State School of Character awards from Character.org, a “national organization devoted to fostering character development in our schools and communities,” the website reads. The three Troy schools were the only schools in Michigan selected for the award this year. ....
