opportunity to really distance himself from jeffrey epstein. we do have to be clear prince andrew has not been charged, convicted not even being investigated at this point. but what he is guilty of is appalljug judgment when it comes to friends. he does address the fact in 2010 he looks back and sees it wasn t terribly sensible to stay at the home of a convicted sex offender but two areas that struck me the most, number one he showed chutely no replors or regret over his friendship with jeffrey epstein, and number two, at any point did he mention the victims. when we re looking at damage control the monarchy at the end of the day is a business. and this was further damage. these are all things any pr expert would say we ve got to hit every step of the way. quickly if you will, how do you see the royal family dealing with the pr aspects of this going forward because we all
jumping in. deval patrick, for example, michael bloomberg. do you have regrets? i think every candidate has to be honest about their fortunes. i felt i had something to say, i put it out there. there were a lot of other good candidates. clearly it wasn t connecting and the resources weren t there. and there s a point where you have to say i gave it my shot but i m going to continue to speak out, i m going to continue to run the greatest city in this country. and i think you have to be honest with yourself. and maybe that gets back to the beginning of this conversation. self-awareness and the ability to hear what other people are saying, a leader has to be able to in realtime know if they ve made a mistake. i ve said very publicly for example in new york city i wish i d done some things differently on the homelessness issue. people offered some criticisms and i heard about it in realtime and i m having to make corrections and adjustments. when you re a candidate, same
matters. everything he does is applauded by people who are afraid of him, frankly, and you know, i don t think he s that concerned about it. what is what is it that you think that voters in michigan saw in him versus was it about him or hillary clinton? i think it was a little bit of both. you know, in my neck of the woods on the west side of the state, he wasn t that popular, but neither was hillary clinton. i do think that hillary, you know, upset a lot of people in the midwest. that she did not connect with them in a way. and she certainly connected with people in the northeast and on the west coast. but in places like the midwest, she didn t really connect. and people were drawn to donald trump because they thought she wasn t connecting. 100% you re running for congress or could you still run for another office? i wouldn t say 100% of anything. but there had been talk about a libertarian presidential candidate. i wouldn t rule anything out. justin amash, thanks fo
