December 16, 2020 On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of Western Parkway and Shasho Place in Waldorf, for the reported motor vehicle collision with injuries. Dispatchers advised the 911 caller reported a single vehicle was involved in the collision, with the 45-year-old operator and 10-year-old male occupant reporting injuries. Both were conscious and alert. Firefighters arrived on the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the intersection of Western Parkway and the Waldorf Market Place to find two vehicles in the intersection involved in a t-bone style collision with one victim trapped. Dispatchers then advised that this was a separate motor vehicle collision from the one originally dispatched. A serious motor vehicle collision assignment was then dispatched for the incident.
