On March 29, 2024, at 11:46 a.m., officersfrom the Charles County Sheriff's Office responded to a theft that just occurred at a jewelry store in the 3000 block of Waldorf Market Place. In the case, the suspect asked to see some jewelry, suddenly ran from the store with a ring, and fled in a vehicle.

On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of Western Parkway and Shasho Place in Waldorf, for the reported motor vehicle collision with injuries.
Dispatchers advised the 911 caller reported a single vehicle was involved in the collision, with the 45-year-old operator and 10-year-old male occupant reporting injuries. Both were conscious and alert.
Firefighters arrived on the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the intersection of Western Parkway and the Waldorf Market Place to find two vehicles in the intersection involved in a t-bone style collision with one victim trapped.
Dispatchers then advised that this was a separate motor vehicle collision from the one originally dispatched. A serious motor vehicle collision assignment was then dispatched for the incident.
