Get to 600,000. so it is 2-1 in what used to be a very purple state. my sense is, this is part of a trend that shows and suggests that ohio is no longer the swing state it used to be. 2-1 turnout republicans over democrats. when the democrats had a contested primary for governor it says to me the state has moved to the right and into the republican column. big problem for democrats. bill: i think can you request an unaffiliated voter ballot in ohio? not in a primary, no. ohio doesn t have partisan registration. you are called a republican or democrat by the primary you vote in. everybody is on the voter rolls, no r or d behind their name. bill: i m trying to figure out the number is significantly higher in ohio. that s something to watch. as we go forward in the primaries this is a number that will stand out. ....
