Vivo has announced the launch of the Vivo X60 Pro+, its latest flagship smartphone. Announced in China, the Vivo X60 Pro+ is among the first smartphones in the world to run on the recently announced 2021 flagship SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888. The smartphone was teased earlier at the launch of the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro back in December 2020, and has now been launched in China. However, the smartphone’s availability for international markets remains undisclosed for now, although Vivo may decide to launch it globally at a later date.

Vivo X60 Pro+ pre-bookings have begun in China. Vivo has also revealed some specifications that confirm some earlier speculations. As per the listing on the company s Chinese online store, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Additionally, a tipster has claimed that the smartphone will come with a 50-megapixel main camera and 48-megapixel ultrawide snapper on the back. The smartphone is likely a more powerful version of the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro smartphones that were launched in December.

Just a day after the device was teased by a Chinese retailer, Vivo has announced the official launch date for its X60 Pro+ device that will be arriving in China on the 21st of January.
This will be the third phone in the X60 series by Vivo whereas the other two were launched before the end of 2020 with Exynos 1080 chips and Zeiss optics. The X60 Pro+ is expected to be the top-of-the-line device in the series with Snapdragon 888 and Zeiss optics as well.
