While early adopters highly praised the X60 Pro+ optics, reviewers in India are waiting to get hands-on the devices to test the features. Notably, the Vivo X60 series camera system is calibrated by Zeiss optics, the German branded camera that made Nokia smartphones popular. The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are premium mid-range smartphones that are only available in China at present. However, a new leak may suggest the OEM is preparing to bring them to additional markets. Furthermore, they may be new variants of the phones with the Snapdragon 870 SoC in place of their current Exynos 1080.

The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are interesting mobile devices, not the least because of their distinctive gimbal rear camera arrays that are Zeiss-branded to boot. Therefore, it is a shame that they have yet to be released worldwide. Then again, it now looks like their maker might be working on addressing this situation.

Vivo has announced the launch of the Vivo X60 Pro+, its latest flagship smartphone. Announced in China, the Vivo X60 Pro+ is among the first smartphones in the world to run on the recently announced 2021 flagship SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888. The smartphone was teased earlier at the launch of the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro back in December 2020, and has now been launched in China. However, the smartphone’s availability for international markets remains undisclosed for now, although Vivo may decide to launch it globally at a later date.

Vivo has officially confirmed that the X60 Pro+, the highest-end of its new gimbal-phone series, is a Snapdragon 888-powered device and will launch on January 21, 2021. However,
MyDrivers now asserts that the OEM has other interesting new products in the works that might take the stage alongside it.
The new offerings consist of tablets (or Pads , rather), which may not only bear the Vivo name for the first time, but possibly also those of its sub-brands iQOO (a premium gaming-focused division) and NEX (another flagship-grade line of phones).
Furthermore, one or more of them might also release a first-gen laptop in the near future, with names along the lines of iQOO Book . Their existence is currently hinted at through new alleged trademarks for such monikers.
