they didn t have to kill him. they could have shot him in the leg. the sister of a man killed by a police officer and mother of his daughter grieving his loss and asking questions. before 3:00 a.m. police were responding to a domestic violence call with the suspect found in this parking lot. officers say they approached the suspect and he got out of the red nissan, he was distraught and they can see what appeared to be a handgun. officers called out to the suspect. and i heard show me your hands. a witness that did not want to go on camera says he saw it play out. the guy was agitated. he woke up the whole house here. and officers told them to place his hands on his head, one officer fired a taser but it failed to take tobin town. the officers say the suspect grabbed a handgun. this subject went for the waist band ask officers discharged weapons. the police department has been hit hard with losses and there has been heavy scrutiny in what appears to be a heavy
