The Korea Herald reported last night that Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong stated yesterday that he plans to meet SoftBank s founder Masayoshi Son next month as the Japanese tycoon visits Seoul. Immediate speculation was reported that Samsung could be acquiring Arm. Softbank s CEO then published a statement to clarify his meeting with Samsung s Vice Chairman Jay Y. Lee.
