SoftBank CEO to Meet with Samsung's VP Chairman next month to discuss a possible strategic alliance with Arm

The Korea Herald reported last night that Samsung Electronics' Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong stated yesterday that he plans to meet SoftBank's founder Masayoshi Son next month as the Japanese tycoon visits Seoul. Immediate speculation was reported that Samsung could be acquiring Arm. Softbank's CEO then published a statement to clarify his meeting with Samsung's Vice Chairman Jay Y. Lee.
