welcome back to all in, i m chris hayes. in just four days, the new republican authority will be sworn into the house of representatives, that includes george santos. the freshman-elect from new york, the man who flipped the democratic seat in a biden district. and essentially has been fabricating his resume. he s currently under vessel gagen by federal prosecutors for his background and finances. from his past reporters are now scrutinizing everything about santos, understandably. especially his apparent southern while. how he went from earning $55,000 in 2020, to loading his campaign over $700,000 just two years later. and how he spent that campaign money. the new york times reporting today that he spends a unusually high amount on hotels, trips across the country. especially someone is relatively new to politics. $3,000 on hotels, $4,000 on air fare, government lobbyists republican citizen says usually a congressional candidate will try to spend as little as poss ....
