Through the years, buses and trains were not accessible. With the enactment of the ada, the ada laws made that vehicles be accessible. Take the historic streetcars that operate along market street. These streetcars are accessible for people who use mobility devices such as wheelchairs, walkers and even strollers with the ability to board and exit streetcars.
