enterprise. the origin was mafia. we are people at the top didn t touch the merchandise. infamously, people involved in trafficking knew or thought that if they didn t touch the drugs, they couldn t be charged. and but enter, oh told everyone involved in the illegal enterprising accountable. and the use of that law has expanded. fani willis was personally involved in a georgia prosecution that looked at education officials who were involved in a score rigging scandal. so there is this enhanced use of it for organizations. that is precisely how willis appears to be viewing the people who are around efforts in georgia to cheat in the election in 2020 and steal the election after trump lost. greg, i m glad that joyce brought up that prior prosecution by d.a. fani willis. that was a 2020 prosecution of 12 atlanta educators, as joyce explained, had to do with a
complications start very early on. in a big case, we saw that trump s indictment involving mar-a-lago where there were delays as codefendants struggled to find local council. and the delays just magnify from that point on and outward. these stasis cases take a long time to try, the longest casey never went to trial in the history of the state of georgia was a r.i.c.o. case, lots of complexity baked into the cake with these charges. greg, you could forgive your reporting as well, as you said at the beginning of this segment, that at least two witnesses have confirmed what they have been subpoenaed to appear in front of the grand jury and give testimony on tuesday. but that doesn t necessarily mean that fani willis won t begin presenting her case with the use of witnesses as early as tomorrow, is that right? that s exactly right. we expected to begin presenting the case for the use of grand jury witnesses and other investigative testimony, beginning monday. and that means we have a
