This mornings fatal crash happened at 7 40 this morning at the intersection of park avenue and mccavoy street. A flatbed truck was make traveling west. At the same time the driver of a Pontiac Firebird was traveling east. He entered the intersection, did not see the truck, drove into it and became wedged underneath the trailer. The driver was killed, the tenyearold in the back seat, his daughter, was hurt but shaken emotionally. She was taken to an area hospital as a precaution. Any time you get a situation like this, you hope for the best, unfortunately someone lost their life today. And well have to go ahead and look at all the information before we put out a determination or a cause for this collision.
