At the same time the driver of a Pontiac Firebird was traveling east. He entered the intersection, did not see the truck, drove into it and became wedged underneath the trailer. The driver was killed, the tenyearold in the back seat, his daughter, was hurt but shaken emotionally. She was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.
