one other weather issue we are watching is the doppler radar. you might have noticed those cloud fz you look off to the east. the thunderstorm has weakened in the last few minutes, inpacting carp, and that s about it for now. the line is extending very close to mesquite. that s not where the most significant part of the storm is. it has a history of producing some small hail. i think it s going to miss any population, but we ll watch it and have a full update on that and of course our winds in a full weather segment. we frawl oaing breaking news here in our valley. henderson fire currently working to put out a house fire, with a live look at the scene right now. the fire started about two hours ago in maryland parkway. you see the damage left behind not just for the building but this car here as well. at its most intense moments an as of now we have not heard of any injuries or if anyone was inside when the fire started. we also have breaking news on the national level. o
there on the top, you see the orange pieces on the power lines, they were installing those. this is what you will see throughout middletown. we noticed this by driving around. reporter: yeah drive, dozens of power lines down on the ground. every pole for stretches completely burned. ktvu s dev ruv, we just debora villalon, we just ran into her. reporter: sadly, where we went was anderson springs. a woman was trapped in her house and died. an elderly disabled woman. unabled to be rescued. it is off unable to be rescued. it is off of the road is impassable. you have to hike up the road because of all the poles and wires down. there is still flames in some of the tree. a neighborhood of 50, 60 homes. we saw maybe 10 still standing. maybe a dozen. very hit and miss. her house was at the end of anderson springs and turns into hot springs and dead ends. that is the last house in the neighborhood. she was as far off the highway as you could get. really sad to see. report
