Reporter it happened here at Daytona Beach near the ocean section of the beach around 1 30 this afternoon when the beach was packed with spring breakers. They are cracking down on the drinking. Reporter a beach Patrol Officer was trying to arrest 20yearold jamie gordon for an alcohol violation when he resisted and took off running. Our officer got into a scuffle with him and was unfortunately injured. The officer dislocated his shoulder. Reporter gordon was then charged with several offenses. Passengers were bussed to the terminal where they spent almost three and a half hours waiting.
