viewers here in the united states and all around the world. i m george howell. and i m rosemary church. this is cnn newsroom. and we start with anger turning into action in the u.s. state of florida. a deadly school shooting killed 17 people there last wednesday. well, now many of the survivors say they will march on washington to demand tougher gun laws. they re calling it the march for our lives and want students to descend on the capitol on march 24th. survivors and reporters held this rally saturday to condemn lawmakers beholden to the gun industry. in the meantime, the u.s. president has been in the u.s. state of florida. he took time there to meet with a couple of survivors of the shooting. the white house says the president plans to discuss campus safety with students and teachers this week, but that may be overshadowed by a tweet that he made about the shooting on saturday. a tweet linking the shooting to the russia investigation. it has sparked outrage. our bor
