Filipino fighter Rolando Dy believes Kyrgyz star Abdysalam Kubanychbek might be the “toughest fighter” he will ever face.
Dy is set to lock horns with Kubanychbek in the headliner of BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination on March 11, the first main event for BRAVE Combat Federation’s “Kombat Kingdom,” which will serve as world title eliminator against current champion Amin Ayoub (15-4) of France.
“He (Kubanychbek) is a top-rated fighter in his country and in Russia. If you have that kind of rating as a fighter, it means you’re a monster,” said Dy, who holds a 14-9 record. “I consider this fight as a very important fight.”
