historic, important investments in our economy and in our society that really address some of the fragilities that we have seen develop for far too long. you know, given this new spike in covid cases though, it is far more than just looking at it from a medical perspective. how much does the white house need to pay attention from an economic perspective? so i can assure you, alex, we have been focused on the economic implications of covid from day one, starting in the campaign. i mean this economic crisis that we saw in 2020 was the result of the pandemic, and the president knew that the very first thing he had to do when he took office was to make sure that we were focused on wrapping our hands around the pandemic, getting those shots in arms. nothing could be more important than getting that vaccine out, making sure that people, you know, get their jab so that we can all be protected because that s the only way that we re going to get be able to get the economy back on track. n
