welcome. i m neil cavuto. this is your world and a world of big spending in the works and some big tax hikes to go with it. this time wall street had a very different reaction. maybe sensing not all of this can go through. first, to blake burman to here get a look at exactly what the administration could be looking at. i guess, blake, detailing next week. there are the numbers, neil and the politics as well. we re told from the white house to expect when the president rolls out the plan next week it will include raising taxes on those that make $400,000 a year and raising the capital gains rate up to 39.6% for income over a million dollars. keep in mind, the president had talked about this during the campaign. so it s been modeled all right. here s some of the numbers. when look at raising capital gains to 39.6 and pairing that with tax treatments, the tax policy center estimates it will cost $370 billion over a decade. the tax foundation higher than that at $469 billion.
