The Uprooted Band When Michael Glabicki and his friends began playing weekly gigs as a house band at a Pittsburgh bar, they probably didn’t anticipate becoming major players in the 1990s neo-hippie rock scene. But that’s just what Rusted Root became when world-beat hits such as “Send Me on My Way” catapulted them to success. These days, Glabicki is touring with his new solo project, the Uprooted Band, performing Rusted Root favorites as well as new material.
