PESHAWAR: The provincial government has asked the University of Peshawar (UoP) to utilise its assets, including Bara Gali campus, for raising funds for academic and other activities on the campus.
In this regard, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra held a meeting with UoP Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Idrees at Bara Gali Summer Campus the other day, according to a press release.
“Bara Gali campus and other assets can be used to do away with the financial crisis at the varsity. The government will keep assisting the UoP as part of its strategy to promote education,” the minister said. ....
