I am going to show you around the exhibition today. Before we head into the gallery, i want to talk about this lenticular that is out in the lobby. It has a photograph of the 1913 womens suffrage march, looking up pennsylvania avenue toward the United States capital. It is overlaid with a photograph from the 2017 womens march from pennsylvania avenue as well. And it is a lenticular, which has a special effect. As you walk by, the image changes between the two. We really wanted to have it in the exhibit to help grab the publics attention, and also to signal this is a historic exhibit, but one that continues to have contemporary relevance today.
