A TTPS press release stated that Ronaldo Hamza Thomas, 34, of Unity Lane, Carapo was charged with the offence following advice last Friday from Acting Director of Public Prosecutions Joan Honore-Paul. Mohith, 31, of Eastern Main Road, Arouca, was at his business place with a male relative around 4 pm on Thursday March 11, when a gunman entered and shot him before running off. Mohith was taken to the Arima Hospital and then transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he died. ....
Investigators from the Kingston Western Police Division have arrested and charged a man with malicious destruction of property, illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition following an incident that occurred on Unity Lane, Kingston 13 on Sunday, September 20. The accused is 19-year-old Trayvon Williams, otherwise called ‘Woggy’, a wholesale worker of Unity Lane, Kingston 13. Reports are that shortly after 12:30 am, a group of armed men opened gunfire at the now complainant’s house, causing damages to the door and another section of the house, estimated at $50,000. The attackers then fled the premises on foot. The scene was processed and two live 12-gauge cartridges, two 9mm spent casings and two 12-gauge spent casings were found at the location. ....
