Sandys/The Washington Post) Amtrak is suspending some service south of Washington because of security concerns related to Wednesday’s inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. Northeast Regional trains will end their trips at Union Station on Tuesday and Wednesday, the railroad said. Passengers with tickets to Virginia stations will be contacted to adjust their travel plans. Amtrak on Saturday also urged passengers traveling to and from Washington this week to add time to navigate around a massive secure zone near Union Station.
