The International Invincible Gold Medal of this year has been conferred on Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
Dr Tony Nader, president of Maharshi Organisation worldwide, said that Nishank has been recognised for his extraordinary commitment and outstanding service to humanity through his writings, social and illustrious public life. The decision was made after due deliberations by a high-powered committee duly constituted under the leadership of Dr Tony Nader who is the global head of the organisation.

MANIPUR: At the age of 9 years when most of the kids dream of fairy tales or get inspired by their comic heroes, there stands out one girl from Manipur named Licypriya Kangujam who has raised Rs. 45 lakh till now to combat the nationwide COVID-19 pandemic.
Notably, the 9-year-old climate activist has started a fundraiser programme called India Needs Oxygen Mission to buy oxygen concentrators for poor COVID patients.

New Delhi: The UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC NET December 2020 cycle) which was scheduled for May 2021 has been postponed in view of the COVID-19 pandemic prevailing in the country.
The decision was announced on Tuesday (April 20) by Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
The upcoming exams were originally slated for December 2020 but were postponed to May due to the pandemic. The second wave of the pandemic has once again forced the authorities to revise the exam schedule.
“Keeping in mind the safety and wellbeing of candidates and exam functionaries during COVID-19 outbreak, I have advised the National Testing Agency to postpone the UGC-NET December 2020 cycle (May 2021) exams,” tweeted Pokhriyal.
