Evacuations were ordered in the community of Baie-Saint-Paul, where extensive floodwaters washed out roads. The municipality of St-Come also declared a state of emergency.
Police said two helicopters were deployed to an area near the community of St-Urbain, Que., where flooding has been reported along the Rivière du Gouffre.
Provincial and municipal officials are telling residents in affected areas to take precautions against flooding. Parts of southern Quebec remain under rainfall warnings.
Authorities also continued to monitor parts of Montreal's West Island, especially in communities along the Rivière des Prairies that were hard hit by past spring floods.
