She says she is lucky to have so much support at work, like her lieutenant. I cried maybe the first five nights. I would call him 1, 2 00 in the morning and just cry, why me . Why me . Obviously, it was a shock. The hardest thing i think was when she asked me to notify her squad. And to see your fellow officers break down in tears, it was very emotional for me.
