After Noon Concert Series presents Eric Plutz, University Organist

AFTER NOON CONCERT SERIES

Eric Plutz, University Organist at Princeton University, will play an All-French program, consisting of works by Gigout, Vierne, Fauré, and Duruflé. Due to the current restrictions on attendance, this concert will be live streamed.  This performance is virtual only and will be livestreamed on the ORL YouTube page available through this link.  The program will also be recorded  for viewing at a later time.
The After Noon Concert Series is a weekly opportunity for the Princeton Community to enjoy performances at the Princeton University Chapel by local, national, and international organists. Offered each Thursday, while classes are in session, these half-hour concerts showcase the flexibility of the magnificent Skinner/Mander Chapel organ. Emery Brothers organ for Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral

Emery Brothers has completed the new organ for the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral. The organ began as M. P. Möller Opus 6425, which was installed in Schwab Auditorium at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania, in 1936. Designed by Möller’s tonal director Richard Whitelegg, the organ’s thirty-three ranks include warm, bold diapasons, evocative flutes, colorful and varied strings, and four iconic reeds, all at eight-foot pitch: Trumpet, Oboe, Clarinet, and Vox Humana. ....

AFTER NOON CONCERT SERIES

Tyrone Whiting, Director of Music at Church of St. Martin-in-the-fields (Episcopal), Philadelphia, PA, will play works by Bach, Dupré, and Guilmant.
All persons, including members of the broader community, are welcome to attend this event if they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if over age 12. Face coverings must be worn at all times by everyone over age 2. Registration is required for contact tracing purposes.
