Good afternoon, our top story at at 3 00, a massive fish die off off happening in bay area waterways. The group bay keeper says this is due to a harmful algae bloom. This is where the fish have been found, they are washing ashore all the way down to foster city. Dead fish have also been seen floating by the dumbarton bridge. This harmful algae blooms started in july buh but fish kills were not reported reported until last week. They have found sturgeon, sharks and stingrays along the shoreline. When thousands of fish die, its its a major problem and tells us whats going on in the water. Water. Lets turn to our meteorologists for more of whats going on.
