Labour day. We have our big interviews and important monologues from the past few months. My monologue vetting, kamala harris and her record. Nothing matters any more in the upside down world of kamala harris, for example, remember kamala s recent crusade against fracking, you might recall. Take a look. Will you commit to implementing a federal ban on fracking your first day in office, adding the united states to the list of countries against fracking. There is no question that i am against fracking. Sean: a complete ban, she said it on numerous occasions. On friday, however, the harris campaign told the hill that their candidate doesn t mean what she said many times and now does not support a fracking ban. Now, here is my question to you. Which kamala do you believe? i believe the one that said she wants to ban fracking. What about that single payer medicare she cosponsored with bernie sanders, vowing to get rid of private health insurance, this was a few years ago. Take a look. You s

while ignoring some of the things that do. we have to really step back. i would hope the democrats would learn from the mistakes the republicans made when they had the gavel and some of the things they chased and really get about the people s business. the other thing that s important to note is, ivanka trump has a unique position. she s probably more influential than any first child ever, in terms of real policy. i think that s getting lost. she was the one who, with democrat, worked to make sure the child tax credit was part of the tax package last year. she s working to make sure criminal justice reform gets through and everybody should be pressuring mitch mcconnell to make sure that happens. so she is doing some important work there in the white house. i think this was an early on transition thing, but there are far more important things that we should be talking about and focusing on as a country moving forward. jessica, how do you see this playing out? you do have senate homela
they pushed him out of that job once the transition thing wasn t some toretical make work busy work job that was never going to come to fruition. once it became a real thing and a really important thing, christie was out, got rid of him. who did they put in charge instead? they put in charge of the transition the vice president-elect, mike pence, which i m sure was very exciting for mike pence. also a huge amount of responsibility. it s tons of work. and he was starting late, right? because they had to undo everything chris christie had done and start over. on top of that pence has to get ready for being vice president as well. him being put in charge of running the transition, that s a huge, huge, huge deal. that s why it was weird when we saw this. mike pence decided to keep his day job as indiana governor. he got named chief of the transition on friday. on monday he said he was staying on as governor. what s that about?
