and the tragics that come from them firsthand. like my next guest laura stack. she said her 14-year-old son johnny had a 4.0gpa, but he started smoking weed. eventually started doing this thing called dabbing and he became paranoid. and then at age 19, he jumped off the top of a 6 story parking garage. she joins me now. laura, i am so heartbroken and sick about your loss and the loss of so many other families out there. a lot of coloradoans i think thought they were voting for something that was kind of harmless back in 2012. what do you say to them today? well, i think that what they thought they were getting and what our kids got are two completely different things. and it s not just colorado. there are thousands of us all

[laughing] last question, we ve seen this before, much bigger tragics, say 9/11 where you had democrats and republicans, i recall covering congress covering singing on the steps of the capitol god bless america. within weeks if not days they re fighting again. there s fights, there s principle battles, that s always going to happen. you hear people on both sides of the aisle saying let s come together after the death of john mccain, there s going to be a new moment here. how quickly are they going back
past. there are hundreds and thousands of people who just give up their civic duty to vote. what happens, we get these people who don t want to do their job in office. ultimately, they fail us. april 20, your movement would like to have another walk out. what do the expect? the national school walk out april 20th uwe trying to get every student who sits behind a desk to walk out of school and take a look and reflect on the event that is have gone through the years mass tragics and murders occur. we are not going to take it any more. we will say no going to school if we don t get a change. you can t put us in a place where we are not going to be safe. spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on metal detectors
