we begin with breaking news on the southern border where a new surge of migrants, most of them from haiti, has grown to nearly 15,000. right now dhs is ramping up deportation flights as thousands of migrants are overwhelming del rio, texas, many of them living under a bridge to try to escape the brutal heat. we ll have an update from the scene in just minutes. meanwhile on capitol hill the clock is ticking as democrats work to get a $3.5 trillion spending bill and a bipartisan infrastructure bill to president biden s desk. earlier today i spoke with house budget committee chair john yarmouth who had a message for his colleagues who are at odds over what that final bill should look like. you can posture all you want and say what you want, what you will and won t vote for. in the final analysis, you re going to vote for it because you re not going to vote against childcare and paid family leave and early childhood education and community college and all these top prio ....
