Our ReporterDimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): A new gym and spa called ‘The Fit Factory and Spa’ was inaugurated at Duncan Basti, Dimapur, on Saturday by the advisor of Power department, Tovihoto Ayemi. Ayemi reminded everyone to remain fit and healthy in this changing time and lifestyle. He called upon the public to avail the facilities provided in their doorstep. He also congratulated the owner for coming up with the facilities in Dimapur. Dwelling on the Fit India Movement, he reiterated that it is a movement to promote health, and added, “if we are fit and healthy, we grow and progress, but if we are not healthy then we are left behind.” He further expressed that such facilities are some components that add beauty to Dimapur city. Our Reporter Dimapur, Aug. 13 (EMN): The advisor of Power department, H Tovihoto Ayemi said on Monday that the government of Nagaland is taking up three hydro projects namely; lower Tizu Hydro Electricity Projects (42 MW), Zungki Hydro Electricity Project (24MW), and Tizu Valley (24 MW) as a part of Externally Aided Projects through the Asian Development Bank. Ayemi was addressing the 76th Independence Day celebration at DDSC Stadium in Dimapur, which was packed by spectators gathered to witness the event. He informed the gathering that the issue connected with the 186 MW hydro electricity projects at Dikhu is also getting resolved. Once these projects are completed, he said the state will be self-sufficient in electricity power supply, solving the power purchase burden the state is facing today. Our Reporter Dimapur, July 15(EMN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton on Friday said that the “main obstacle” in the way of solution to the Naga political issue is the NSCN (IM)’s insistence on a separate flag and constitution for the Nagas. “The NSCM (IM) will not accept solution unless flag and constitution are given, and therefore unless NSCN (IM) comes forward for the solution, we are helpless,” Patton told journalists on the sideline of the 16th Freshers’ cum Annual Day programme of Unity College, Dimapur.
