VENICE – Early this COVID-19 pandemic summer John Dale and his wife Beata were sitting around with their friends Monika Piwowarska and her husband Roy Cook, talking about what they like about Venice.
The Dales moved here from Murrieta, California, which is inland midway between San Diego and Los Angeles, and became friendly with Piwowarska – the Realtor who found their house – and her husband partly because both women are Polish and both men are roughly the same age.
One thing led to another and the idea of developing Shark Tooth Vodka came to light.
Two months later, the thoughts became a little more serious and Dale started calling distilleries, to see how likely that idea could become a reality. ....
