Chef Tony’s closes in downtown Bethesda as owner hopes to relocate
The downtown Bethesda Restaurant Chef Tony’s, which specializes in Mediterranean-style seafood dishes, closed on Sunday after more than 13 years at 4926 St. Elmo Ave.
Tony Marciante, who owns the restaurant with his wife, Sonia, said in a video on Facebook that he had to close the downtown Bethesda restaurant because of a planned condominium development on the site. He plans to relocate in Bethesda in three to five months, he said. ....
