The witness tells us the hit andrun driver hit and killed the boy here at this intersection around 6 15 tonight. A neighbor tells me he was out in front of his home watching his girlfriend back out of his driveway when he saw a sheriffs car with flashing lights chasing a four door sedan along east 18th street. He said the sedan ran a red light and estimated that it was speeding going about 40 to 50 Miles Per Hour when he struck a boy holding a skateboard. Just happened so fast.
