Vincent Zamora, 17, appeared before 8th Judicial District Court Judge Daniel McDonald Friday afternoon where he pleaded guilty to three felony charges, including second-degree murder, a class 2 felony; and two counts of attempted second-degree murder, a class 3 felony. Zamora also admitted to three sentence enhancers of crimes of violence with the use of a weapon.
The bill would mandate that K-12 schools could not start before the first Tuesday in September, and there is a good amount of support for it in the Legislature.
Former Loveland police officer Dylan Miller now faces a federal charge of assaulting his alleged teen victim while on duty, according to an indictment made public Monday.
Dylan Miller, 28, was federally indicted on charges of aggravated sexual abuse and kidnapping. If convicted, he faces a possible sentence of life in prison.
