january 6th will forever leave a dark stain on the fabric of this country. it was an attack on our democracy and it still has seen little to be done to hold those accountable. according to a new abc poll, an overwhelming majority, 72% of americans, believe the people involved in the attack on the capitol were threatening democracy. i worry where we are headed as a nation if we don t change course and hold those accountable for their actions on january 6th, including the former president, who americans mostly agree is at least partially to blame. meanwhile, as the house select committee is investigating the attack on the capitol, which they plan to have public hearings this year, donald trump is threatening to hold a news conference at his mar-a-lago resort on thursday seeking to co-op the day and rewrite history. conversely congressman jamal brown is urging president bush to use his executive authority to recognize january 6th as a national day of healing. this goes bey ....
