Thompson, a spiritual leader and faithful servant of God at both Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Tompkinsville and the Church of the Holy Child in Eltingville, died peacefully Dec. 17 in Staten Island University Hospital, Prince’s Bay, after a bout with pneumonia. His age was 92.
