In capital Lucknow, some private hospitals Wednesday evening asked attendants to shift out their patients to other centres, after they ran out of medical oxygen. While medical oxygen was supplied to a few of them after frantic SOS calls, the situation continues to be precarious across the state.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police has lodged an FIR against self-proclaimed Hindutva leader Ragini Tiwari, days after a video of her threatening to turn the ongoing farmers’ protest into “another Jafrabad” went viral.
The FIR was registered on 16 December by the Northeast district police, under Section 153 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot) of the Indian Penal Code.
A Delhi Police official, who did not wish to be named, told ThePrint, “An FIR was lodged after a police personnel registered a complaint against Ragini Tiwari over her video alleging that she was not only threatening but also provoking people for violence.”
